NRS provides person-centred support for NDIS participants within the services NRS currently offers. Rather than duplicating each individual service, this page explains the principles that guide how NRS works with participants, their goals and their chosen supports.
Our approach
Before support commences, NRS confirms that the requested service is suitable, available and within our current scope. Funding and service arrangements are discussed clearly so participants understand what has been agreed.
Every support arrangement starts with a conversation so we can understand what matters to you, confirm the service is appropriate and agree on how the support will be delivered.
What we can help with
- Support arrangements based on the participant’s goals, preferences and agreed needs
- Respect for participant choice, control, privacy and dignity
- Clear communication about agreed services, times and expectations
- Consistent support and accurate service records
- Communication with family, nominees or other supports where appropriate and authorised
