Hi, I’m Natalie, Founder and Director of NRS Independent Services.
Before NRS was a business, caring for and supporting people was already a major part of my life.
Through more than eight years working as an Endorsed Enrolled Nurse, I had the privilege of supporting people through many different stages of their lives. That experience taught me that great care isn't simply about completing a list of tasks. It's about listening, building trust, respecting people's choices and taking the time to understand what matters to them.
That belief is a big part of why I started NRS Independent Services.
I wanted to create a service where people could receive professional, reliable support without losing the personal connection that good care should have. A service where clients and their families know who they're dealing with, where people are treated as individuals, and where we do what we say we're going to do.
As NRS grows, that's something I never want us to lose.
I want our clients to feel safe and protected, heard and respected, independent and empowered. I want our team to genuinely care about the people they support, and I want NRS to be known in our communities as an organisation people can depend on.
We're growing, we're learning and we're always looking for ways to do better — but the reason behind NRS remains very simple:
to help people live their life, their way.
